Winners & prize claims
Last updated: [LAST UPDATED DATE]
These rules form part of our Terms & Conditions.
How we contact winners
We contact winners (main draw and instant wins) by email and phone using the details on the account or postal entry, within [NOTIFICATION WINDOW, e.g. 7 days] of the draw or instant win. We will never ask a winner to pay a fee to receive a prize. If you get a message claiming to be from us that asks for payment, it is not from us: please report it to .
Claiming your prize
- You must reply and accept your prize within [CLAIM PERIOD, e.g. 28 days] of our first attempt to contact you.
- We will ask you for proof of identity, age (18+) and UK address, for example a passport or driving licence and a recent utility bill or bank statement. We use these only to verify your claim (see our Privacy Policy).
- If you do not respond within the claim period, cannot be verified, or are found to be ineligible, the prize will be forfeited and we may redraw from the remaining valid entries using the same method.
Prize delivery and cash alternatives
- Physical prizes are delivered free to a UK address, or collected by arrangement, within [DELIVERY WINDOW, e.g. 28 days] of verification.
- If a cash alternative is shown on the competition page you can choose it instead of the prize, by telling us within the claim period.
- Cash prizes and cash alternatives are paid by bank transfer to a UK account in the winner's name, normally within [CASH PAYOUT WINDOW, e.g. 7 days] of verification.
- Prize winnings in the UK are generally not subject to income tax, but you should take your own advice. Winners are responsible for any ongoing costs of a prize after delivery (for example insurance, tax and running costs for vehicles, unless stated otherwise).
Publicity
We publish the winner's first name, surname initial and town or county, and the winning entry number, on our Winners page. Photographs, videos and full names are only used with the winner's separate consent.
Disputes
If you believe a draw or prize decision is wrong, please follow our Complaints procedure.
